Sea created an app for the virtual simulation of cargo securing

Challenge:
To minimise the risk of cargo damage during transport and provide a cargo securing plan required by insurers.

Solution:
Our team created an app that offers a virtual visualisation of cargo securing produced in only 15 minutes including reports and securing plans. The algorithm calculates moments and forces affecting the load and distribution of the mass of the load on the cargo transport unit (CTU) surface.

Methodology:
Sea executed the entire project from ideation, designing a concept through product development to commercialisation. We collaborated with a packaging company, cargo-securing experts, and scientists from Gdynia Maritime University.

Tech stack:

  • Unity
  • Zenjeckt
  • ShaderLab
  • UniRx
  • Android
  • Tablet
